Hey there!

I am Shambhavi Shandilya, a final year student pursuing IPG-M.Tech degree at IIIT Gwalior.

My interest lies in Problem Solving which I utilise to build web applications. Though I'm a Full-Stack Developer, I spend most of my time building the Backend.

While away from the keyboard, you can find me reading fiction, romanticizing living life with a cup of coffee.

Created a feature to report progress percentage of Cross-region Table Copy operation in BigQuery.
Worked on creating bi-directional communication among multiple microservices using gRPC, REST APIs, and callbacks to develop a framework for progress indication.
Technologies used: Java, Google Spanner, Python, Dagger, SQL, gRPC

Software Engineer Intern
July 2021 - November 2022
Created new CSPM checks to report security misconfigurations in the cloud infrastructure using AWS SDK.
Worked on various SSPM checks that report security vulnerabilities in the MongoDB Atlas environment.
Researched on security vulnerabilities in the AWS, GCP, Azure cloud and insecure directory traversals.
Technologies used: Node.js, AWS SDK, GCP, Azure Portal, MongoDB

Software Engineer Intern
May 2022 - July 2022
Created a service to comapare tree-like hierarchies at different timestamps and switch between them using existing RPCs.
Optimized the algorithm to work for over one million entities in the database considering hierarchy inheritance constaraints.
Ensured 90%+ code coverage by writing unit and integration tests.
